Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs)
Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) signed between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board, Punjab IT Board and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities in collaboration with the Federal Government.
Under the MoU, National Incubation Centers will be set up in two districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Swat and Kohat, and National Freelancer Training Centers in KP Universities.
The event was attended by Advisor to Chief Minister on Science and Information Technology Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zia Ullah Bangash, Federal Ministry of IT officials, KPITB and PITB officials and KP universities vice chancellors.
The National Freelance Training Program & National Incubation Centers are sponsored by the Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication (MoITT) with a vision to provides skills required for Freelancing Training to empower youth & to promote technology and entrepreneurship across the country.
MOIT&T officials appreciated the efforts of KPITB and PITB in bringing cutting edge trainings across Pakistan and acting as a corner stone of digital revolution.
"Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is developing rapidly in the IT sector. Kohat University and University of Swat selected for National Incubation Center while Freelance centers will be set up at Malakand University, Gomal University DI Khan and the Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar.
The expansion of the projects is being supported by the Federal Government and the Punjab IT Board. The projects will benefit thousands of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa youth. KPIT Board and Punjab IT Board will support each other in the field of information security.
Investing in the nation’s youth will open new avenues of economic stability through digital transformation. This partnership will prove to be a stepping stone towards the vision of Prime Minter of Pakistan Imran Khan - a digitally resilient Pakistan.
